We buy land, win planning and build the homes.

Eight schemes on the books: three on site, three in planning and two just sold. Each one numbered, drawn and built by us.

Site plan of The Maltings, Ware
The Maltings at Ware, restored around a courtyard

Sixteen homes inside a Victorian maltings, and six more along its street.

The maltings stood empty for thirty years. We kept the brick shell, opened it to a courtyard and built the street houses in the same brick.

How we build

A field gate on farmland at dawn

01

Land

We buy sites ourselves, usually from families who have farmed them for generations.

A site plan drawn in house

02

Planning

We draw every scheme in house and take it through planning with the town, not around it.

03

Build

Our own site teams lay the brick. We use local clay and local trades.

04

Hand over

We walk every new owner round their home and stay on call for ten years.
